At BIF, all members have the opportunity to attend weekly sessions where they work on stock pitch building, including valuation methods, investment theses and catalysts.
There are also two stock pitch competitions held at Bristol, as well as the opportunity to apply to represent BIF at the UK Finance League in London.
2. Connect
Our driven students work tirelessly to develop and maintain strong relationships with professionals from Bulge Brackets, as well as other UK and Europe based investment societies.
Our Bristol Investment Talk Series (BITS) brings professionals from the sector with interesting insights and experiences to engage with our members. We also host a yearly networking event with a plethora of external stakeholders.
3. Inspire
In March 2023, BIF won the UK Finance League at The Shard, competing against the 14 leading student investment societies from the UK and Germany. Opportunities to take part in such competitions are rare to come by, and so we are very fortunate to offer our leading analysts impressive and exclusive opportunities to develop skills and gain invaluable experiences.
